Half Day - £85.00
Full Day - £145.00

Morning cruises start at 10.00 hrs
Afternoon cruises start at 14.00 hrs

All rates are based on the hire of the yacht, not per person. It is based on a maximum of 4 sharing, although family groups can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Maples can offer a variety of options for sailing on Lake Windermere in a Beneteau First 26. One off sessions are priced accordingly. For those who wish to have more formal training Maples can offer properly structured sailing courses and all teaching is done to the standards laid down by the RYA Keelboat syllabus for inland water.

Courses are designed and priced for TWO PERSONS although additional persons can be catered for with a small supplement (please ask for details when booking). Courses require 30 hours but if there are long gaps then some additional time may be necessary to achieve full competence. For those of you who would like a taster course and not have to commit yourselves to a full five days Maples can offer a two day introduction. The course is based on the RYA Level 1 Keelboat syllabus.

A 5 day block at 6 hours per day - £600.00
Terms full payment 7 days in advance

Courses option 2
Individual days at 6 hours per day - £625.00
Terms day 1 payable 7 days in advance then day 2 payable at the end of day 1 etc…

2 Day course
The price is based on two persons and is charged at - £240.00
Terms if two day block full payment 7 days in advance. If two separate days 1 payable 7 days in advance and day 2 payable at the end of day 1.

Maples can offer a bespoke service in own boat tuition on powerboats and sailing yachts.

Whether it is a small speedboat or a 50 foot twin screw, sailing dinghy or a large yacht we will get you going in no time at all.

All aspects of boat handling are covered including man overboard, tight space maneuvering, jetty work, holding tank emptying and general Lake geography.

All in all we aim to help you get the best out of your boat in the shortest possible time.
