Half Day - £90.00
Full Day - £160.00

Morning cruises start at 10.00 hrs
Afternoon cruises start at 14.00 hrs

Cruises start mid febuary and end mid november and are subject to weather conditions. Please note times may vary for early and late season cruises.

All rates are based on the hire of the yacht, not per person. It is based on a maximum of 4 sharing, although family groups can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Remember it’s a “hands on experience” – you steer, learn, but most of all enjoy!

Maples can offer a variety of options for sailing on Lake Windermere in a Beneteau First 26. One off sessions are priced accordingly. For those who wish to have more formal training Maples can offer properly structured sailing courses and all teaching is done to the standards laid down by the RYA Keelboat syllabus for inland water.

Courses are designed and priced for TWO PERSONS although additional persons can be catered for with a small supplement (please ring for details). The course lasts for 2 days at a cost of £290.00 for two people. If a 2 day block is booked payment is required in full, 14 days in advance. If 2 seperate days are booked then day 1 is payable in advance, and day 2 payable at the end of day 1.

Maples can offer a bespoke service in own boat tuition on powerboats and sailing yachts.

Whether it is a small speedboat or a 50 foot twin screw, sailing dinghy or a large yacht we will get you going in no time at all.

All aspects of boat handling are covered including man overboard, tight space maneuvering, jetty work, holding tank emptying and general Lake geography.

All in all we aim to help you get the best out of your boat in the shortest possible time.
